If you want to improve the accuracy even a bit more a way to achieve this is to lengthen the Spectrometer's optical path, so I designed this optical lengthening tube paired with interchangeable slit caps of different gap sizes, just swap and slide the extender tube in the expansion bay of the spectroscope. The extension tube adds 2.5" to the optical path. It comes with 3 interchangeable 1mm, 2mm and 3mm slit caps. The added length makes it a bit more accurate and stable.
